this song is amazing up until the electronic breakdown. it just doesn't feel like it fits with the epic build up of the first two minutes. other than that, this is one of my favorites off year zero. i think the meaning is what was mentioned before, told from the point of the resistance. really an epic song. |

This song appears written about a relationship, or a fuck buddy, but the whole album is a concept album pertaining to drug addiction, I think this song is more along the lines of a heroine addiction, being his "saturday savior". What appears as though he is talking to another person can also be interpreted as a conversation with the drug. But it could go either way, that is just how I see it. Kind of like Stinkfist by Tool. The lyrics seem to imply fisting at first glance, but upon further interpretation the song appears about drug addiction. |
