how does that contradict itself? he was a young man.. teenager.. someone should have been taking care of him. you wouldn't know about it because you and alot of people in america don't know the difference between want and need. his stomach hurts from hunger pains.. aka not having a meal or nourishment in a long period of time.. that's right now and he did what had to be done. point blank period. that explains the "i ain't never did a crime i ain't have to do." |

i think it's about the different things that happen from the parents relationship not working to her thinking it's her fault that he's leaving feeling helpless. to him dying and her still feeling helpless. it's showing the love his daughter feels for him. sad but beautiful song. |

my favorite on the drought 3. the chorus is sick. and my line is "i know the whole city is depending on me, and i forget a lot of shit but i cannot forget the streets." |

everyone obviously didn't get the point of this song. he loves her. everything he is saying is coming down to "I just love to hear you say it... It makes a man feel good baby." what guy doesn't love hearing that from his girl? every guy gets insecure at times, and when his girl tells him things like that, he gets over it. so obviously if you can relate to what he is talking about, you would see how this good a song this is. |

it's obviously about virginia.
"Plus, what I look like spendin' my nights in jail
I could never be a thug, they don't dress this well
I reside in VA, ride in VA
Most likely when I die, I'm gon' die in VA
Virginia's for lovers, but trust there's hate here
For out-of-towners, who think that they gon' move weight here
Ironic, the same same place I'm makin' figures at
That there's the same land they used to hang niggas at,
in Virginia..." |

Agree with all of those also, but also through various details in the song, it's as if the dude accepts everything that he is, and where he will go when he dies, thus why even though he just came from his own grave, he does everything the same over again. |
