I loved this song the second I sat down and listened to the lyrics. It's perfect. I know this situation: you like a person- maybe even love them, slightly- but they are so much more involved, and you know they deserve someone who will really, really care for them, equally well, not someone who can only give them half of their heart. I can't agree that it's the continuation to Tiny Vessels, because that song seems so much harsher. The emotion is just different. Tiny Vessels sounds like a song berating himself, angry at engaging in something so "vile." Someday You Will Be Loved is almost like- not an apology- but an explanation. It's softer. There's more affection. musicforlife!: you're right; he always does know, somehow. I saw them in concert last weekend and they were beautiful, just beautiful. |
