That second to last line means so much to me. It gets to me everytime. "So put on those clothes you never grew into and smile like you mean it for once." |

First off, Louder Now is my favorite TBS album, and this song can really get me excited, like Miami. But my interpretation is a little diffrent from the original point of the song (or atleast I'm sure). Judging from my own personal experience, this song isn't about another person at all, but really about the writer/listener/Adam/Fred, or whoever the hell is writing/listining. The song's about self discovery. Realizing that the person in themself has become someone diffrent from who they orginally are(sorta like Miami, eh?). And in realizing this self realization (sorry, bad pun) they realize(I really need to expand my vocabulary) that they don't want to be that other person again. "We can't go back." Which is said person saying to himself "I can't pe that person anymore, I can't be him/her again." and then the "Would you do it again, again, count backwards from ten? Sometimes I swear I can see straight through you." which is them saying "Are you willing to be that person again?" and the number represent every level of the person he was becoming, and stating that he's aware he's become someone better. And then in the bridge he's calling his or herself murder, because who he was was just killing him, and he's asking himself, "what happened to you, where have you been. Because he realized, he just can't be who he was anymore. Now, is it a couincidence(sp?) that it came after Miami? Blah, I'm probally wrong, but atleast that's what I got out of it. It's probally about some girl like every other song. :P |

| I used ot think this song was about drugs actaully. I mean if you think of it as drugs, it does seem to make sense. But I can also see it being about God"You are safe child." and a girl "It's you I can;t deny." But I don't know. Personally, it reminds me of a girl to be honest. | |

This...is....perfect. This and "I'll see you when we're both not so emotional." are my favorites. Hell, scratch that, just about all the songsw are my favorite song. But there's this girl, I can't see again until by 18th birthday(really long story, im me if you really want too know). And my birthday is in May, if I was too wait until June, (which is her birhtday) I'll know that I've already taken too long. But nonetheless, me and her have both had doubts apart of whther or not we'll both be good for eachother when I see her again. And we're both sure that the chance of us working out are about fifty fifty. Nonetheless, this song is perfect. |

Well, I can't stand this song to be entirely honest. The vocals are horrible, and the piano is boring. But a girl I care alot for told me to listen to this. We just now this very second decided that we'll just only be freinds. That last line made me smile, even though it seems as though she's making fun of me. |
