The Strokes – You're So Right Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song is about a serial killer. Only because Julian said that this song is "a dark one" and the lyrics

"I'm done with the office, hello forrest (song very deeply for a creepy effect)" I think he's talking about when a killer leaves his office then goes and kills someone in the forest--

Then there's "In my mind late at night" and "I don't wanna hurt you/ Maybe I'd hurt you if I could"

Scientists are working hard to find the particular strain of fuck-the-fans-itis that makes bands act like cunts and not publish official lyrics.

The Strokes – Life Is Simple In the Moonlight Lyrics 13 years ago
Feigned innocence is perhaps the worst crime in this country, also, The 11th Dimension lyrics is "If you believe in this wolrd* then no on has died in vain." I misquoted, but still very much the same message.

Dude I get the last verse. The devil is coming from hell to destroy the world because we're all oblviious to the fact that we're made into robots and fools by the powers that be through the routines of going to work or being addicts or whatever trite and meaningless things people do with their lives.

Even people who just show up at work everyday and are "innocent" in America are guilty too because of the massive sins that this country commits and the fact that they don't try to do more to stop it, making no one innocent.

It's a lot like the last album closer Red Light "Do it for the peole that will die for your sake, 7 billion people who got nothing to say." and some of the lyrics on 11th Dimension "If you believe in this war then no one has died in vain but don't you dare get to the top and not know what to do."

I think he feels like I do--that all the technology and slow disintegration of morals in the world will be the slow end of it--the lightning blue eyes thing--the seemingly startling beauty and convenience of all these things, but how they come fron hell to destroy us.

Jules really hates the war and the shit this country and all humanity really is guilty for. In that sense, he thinks a lot like George Carlin, another true saint/ poet/ philosopher/ genius artist and, incidently a member of the D.(ead) I.(dealistic) D.(esperate) I.(nventor) P.(ioneer) P.(hilosophers).

I think it's pretty much about the end of the world. GREAT SONG!!! GREAT ART! Jesus, I wish he was still composing all the music to that band.

p.s. I know this comment is really long and no one will ever read it. (I never read really long posts) But anyway, it felt great to write it.

Albert Hammond Jr. – Feed Me Jack: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying an Lyrics 14 years ago
drugs. these songs are always about drugs. at least, i think they are because i'm an addict and i know what it's like to have a voice inside your head constantly yelling feed me!! feed me!!! and to have this monster inside you just keep getting bigger and bigger everytime you feed it, but to be helpless against it's calls, like in little shop of horrors... anyway, it's about drugs or some addiction. plain and simple.
