HAHA Yeah, Britney is JUST LIKE the Nazis. In fact, that's EXACTLY what she was elluding to when she sings "I make it hot." The girl IS hot both professionally and personally. That has nothing to do with the Holocaust. Go back to your "Mein Kampf" and let pop music be what it is: ENTERTAINING. This has to be the furthest reach I've heard in a LONG time. |

Two things: 1. I always think that little chirping sound in the background is one of those little chick-toys you can get at the dollar store with the little metal circles on the feet that you tap to make them chirp. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I love this song, but that drives me nuts. 2. The line "I'll make you feel like heaven 24/7" I always thought she said "I'll make you feel like KEVIN 24/7" HAHA. I thought that was kind of funny I heard it that way (obviously wrong). |

I think it's about a guy being into a girl who says she's into him, and they'd be perfect together, but she's totally jerking him around. "Do you think I'm blind to what you do? Do you think I really care for you? Or is it just another game that you and I pretend to play?" I think this line is him trying to be tough and pretend it's not really affecting him, but if it's just a game, then he'll play along, but if she's just that mean, he's serious. He's just trying to protect himself. "Do you think we both should let it show? Do you think we both should let it go? Or is it just another game that you and I pretend to play?" I think this line is him giving her an "out" if she wants it. I love this song. It's one of my favorites of ALL time. |

THIS IS MY FAVORITE TORI SONG WITHOUT QUESTION! I've always felt like the girl who gets passed up for another because the guy I'm with doesn't take the time to see all the pieces of me. Musically, this song is just beautiful and totally touches my heart everytime I hear it. My favorite line has always been: "Maybe maybe it's time to wave goodbye now...Time to wave goodbye now" because I always feel that even though you're letting go against your will, like this line suggests, you'll move on. To me, this song would stand alone without lyrics to it. The strength of the music gets the anger she obviously feels come across loud and clear. I've always thought this song was amazing and extremely personal. ... I really liked that comment that posed the question about what if this was sung by a man dealing with his sexuality. I've never thought of it that way and probably never would've, but it definitely made it more interesting to me... THANKS! |
