Being a recovering heroin addict myself I can attest that this is what goes through your mind everyday when addicted. I relate to everything Maynard says. One thing that stands out to me, which not many have commented on, is the line "Peripheral on the package, Don't care to settle in." Once you get your "package" you're not gonna wait long to dive right into it and "feed the monster." |

I like this song 10x more since i found out it was about Gay-rard. For some reason I can't stand MCR. I keep on giving them chances and sometimes start liking their songs. Then after several times listening to a song of theirs i end up HATING it. The Used are much better in my opinion and I'm glad to see a feud between these 2 bands. |

mplkid has a great point. This song has to be about his drug addiction. It might have a double meaning with a girl and all but theres no way this isnt about his addiction. This is exactly what goes thru an addicts mind, and trust me i know, well more like knew. |
