| Coheed and Cambria – The Black Rainbow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Yeah I agree with that this album is about the writer, because there's really no mention of anything else in the Amory Wars. Also of note is that the album doesn't begin with the traditional Amory Wars instrumental. I agree that this is about the murder of EC that was in Welcome Home. I don't know if I really agree so much with anything else you said. To me it just seems like the end of this album that talks about the world coming apart is continued in Good Apollo. Though Good Apollo makes it seem like the Armory Wars were indeed written during the stuff with EC as opposed to after. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Gravemakers and Gunslingers Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I saw it as Claudio once again wanting to kill himself so he won't have to face his destiny. I mean he's wanted to before. Maybe he asks the gunslinger to do it, or asks Newo to. | |

Anyone think that Newo or someone is trying to convince Claudio not to destroy everything, while The Prize is saying that we are the jury and the all powerful and that Claudio MUST destroy everything. And the end part referring to we'll get you , my love is Newo saying she'll save Claudio from himself. But Idk, I'm still confused as to whether Newo is an evil bitch or not. |

I guess no one has heard the alternate version of this song where the lyrics are a COMPLETE 180 of this one? Today I sat and smoked myself to cancer Thinking about the dancer at the bar Well how was I to know that this crush would grow and grow Till it became a love eclipsing every star And yes I know my addictions run the gamut The smokes the booze the drugs the 24 But you have made the turkey colder as if I’m not bipolar Let me list those things about you which I adore Beautiful you’re freckled slightly You’re laugh’s mighty Expressive flexible not wound up tightly and that is why you should rock my world I knew that you were taken when I met you For years I’d sit and undress you from afar But now your’e free to be An open sore like me I would like to know just where you hide those scars Cause you curve right where you should when you’re a lady But you’re slender sleek and somewhat sleepy head Atypically emoting I’m bono-lyric quoting Like I sell my soul to kneel between your thighs Starry eyes your warm glancing entrancing and you’re amused by my sick sad ranting And that is why you should rock my world I want you, you’re where I want to lay my head Won’t you, you’re where I want to lay my head With ripe wonder, I plunder (?) Just to see if I become her And that is why you should rock my...that is why you should rock my That is why you should be my girl You can see this at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFO-ACWpjk4 |

| Coheed and Cambria – Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Wow, do people like...not read the previous song interpretations or something. This is part of the dream/vision Claudio is having. Jesse is being tortured. So they tell him: "Think of all the times you've once had Write them in a letter that says goodbye" And that's what Jesse does in his mind. He remembers when he was young and since he's an IRO-Bot he remembers the family that took him in and repaired him and all that. The nightmare represents life. When will this life finally end? He's waiting for them to finally shoot and kill him. |

| Coheed and Cambria – The Willing Well III: Apollo II: The Telling Truth Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Because it has the same chorus as Apollo I, I was thinking this is about The Writer going to actually kill Ambellina who was the embodiment of his ex, and also because he knows it's the only way Claudio will become the Crowing and finally end the story. At least that's what I've heard being said. In Apollo 1 he was merely thinking about it, but in Apollo II he actually tries to go through with it. And he's saying if he can't kill her he'll destroy everything else to get to her. I'm not sure what the Jesse reference is about unless it cuts away to Jesse and Mayo fighting. | |
| Circa Survive – Mandala Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| You know...I think it may really have to do with religion. How can we as people feel so accomplished with the things we do if we think about how much of a hand god played into it? If god made us then he gave us all that we have. Circa Survive songs...meant to breed questions. | |

I would agree with the Eternal Sunshine angle or agree that the song's about Anthony's drug abuse. Remembering who he once was before drugs and trying to get back there... The whole bit about words under the influence, like when you say mean shit while you're high. |

I think Crossum64 was on the right track but I think different on some points. Your heart is a grave, to be perfectly honest Your mouth's a smoking gun And you smile while your twisting the knife in my stomach Until everything is gone Take all you can from me I've got weak constitution I'm led so easily So easily I think it means that she lies and maybe she cheated on him, but she wont' fess up. She said she didn't, but he thinks she's been unfaithful. He has that feeling that she's been lying to him. But he goes along with it anyway which is what the "weak constitution/ led so easily" line was about. His suspicions are tearing him apart and he wants to end the relationship. "I left it all behind, in the dead of last winter I left it all behind, but the question still lingers So long forgotten friends, no, you don't know the difference Between love and submission, and I'm not that obedient" I think this is saying that he let his suspicions go long ago, but sometimes he still questions if she was telling the truth or not. Because he loved her, he obediantly believed her, but now he's not so sure. "And she's trying to sleep it off With her head on my shoulder And I'm trying to keep it out Of my thoughts when I hold her" She's finding comfort in him, and though he wants to find comfort in her too...he just can't trust her and his mind keeps going back to it. He can't stop being paranoid about it. It like the salmon of doubt in his mind and he becomes so suspicious about her and insecure and he can't let it go. That's what the song is about. |
