I think the meaning is that there's no hope in religion, that it's a farce. Anthony gets no help, he ends up killing himself, and Hillary receives no answers. The ending summarizes it perfectly (But if you are feeling sinister, go off and see a minister, chances are you'll probably feel better, if you stayed and played with yourself). |
