is it just me or does it sound like he says "the head while im driving, I'm driving" instead of ahead while im driving. :) in the video he smirks just a bit after he says it. I guess I'll check the lyrics tuesday I KNOW he says the head while im driving implying oral copulation. ...hope there's no kids on this site. |

| I also think the whole part about his father & slave is chronicling the civil war the civil rights movement and I would guess affirmative action. | |

his father is now employed by his own former slave. i think thats just there to speak to the irony of fate/life. its a very clear example of it. Maybe its more so an example of how life just ups and drops something totally unexpected on you. I dunno, I somehow think this song is about enjoying the bliss of ignorance. They can't tell the ocean from the street but they're still running barefoot. : ) I have no clue lol great song though. I hate when kids complain about the music today. If they'd look for good music today they'll find it. I think they'll grow out of having their tastes spoonfed to them and they'll look back and see what they missed. So sad. KOL should be a lot more appreciated stateside than they are. |

I really love this song, I guess the masses have caught on then. I read about the band in the st. louis business journal. This is really good song writing and I'm very happy to see a band out of the stl getting some love. Anywho I agree with the posters way back that the singer might just be into bitchy women. I know I am. Its fun as long as you can walk away when it becomes too much. He simply can't. This song is awesome how's the rest of their cd? |

I think the line should be "ah her nose". but I agree with the OP. I definitely do think the song is about a drug dealer and addict. and "Whooooo" is probably the rush she gets from the drugs. but I don't know what he means by "she knows what I'm not" |

I'm like years late but...i think its pretty obvious the girl fools around and she knows he doesnt like it and she still tries to play the "naive" card so therefore he's convinced she's out to get him... been there..been there |

| Radiohead – Karma Police Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i really like biteshernails interpretation I agree with it i do think it has something to do with freaking out and being paranoid blowing things out of proportion great song | |
| Radiohead – Karma Police Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song is about paranoia. Assuming the singer works for the Karma Police, this is how i think the song plays itself. The lyric arrest this man he talks in maths and buzzes like a fridge...this strikes me as e = mc^2 which we all know invented the atomic bomb responsible for crazy destruction..so he's paranoid from this man talking in maths and feels its his duty to extract karma on him. I think the same also applies with the lyric about the girl with the hitler hairdo..and ultimately he realizes his paranoia almost got the best of (for a minute there i lost myself) anyway thats how i interpret the song, seemingly good intentions fueled by his paranoia and need to do his job |
