iheartpsychostick it was Odgen Nash that said, Candy is Dandy, but Liqour is quicker... but I still think you got it close enough.... yeah this song rocks my drunk socks... By the way, there is no rules in music which means any person can an intrepret a song however they choose. If a person says they think a song is about something, even if they're joking, they shouldn't get bashed for it just because you don't agree... if you do go drink some beer to loosen up... |

I think what Senor Bumblebee means when he says emo, are kids(i hope just kids) that seems to be overly(emphasis on overly) depressed without good reason (other than for attention?) it's a.k.a a stereotype. |

I interpreted this as a man who worked so hard on his goals, he worked at some leadership job, and his goal was to have everyone working perfectly and happy. But after a decade he accomplished it. He was probably not needed anymore so he was fired,or something like that. He was unable to support his family. So, believing he wasn't of any purpose, he is deciding whether or not he should be tough and live through the rest of his life, or end it. The main theme revolves around pace. Not pacing your self is a weakness, which would relate to the album title Achilles Heel (Archilles heel is the Greek Hero whom according to legend his mother held by the heel when she dipped him in the River Styx, making him invulnerable everywhere except on his heel. [his only weak spot]) |
