I think this is Gunner Recall attempting to accept what he's done, and that his sons are after him. "I won't keep her awake anymore," maybe he was in denial at first, and now he's letting go of her memory. Then he has to accept the fact he no longer has control of his sons: "Just a worthless memory in this house...I'm a dead man." I don't know, maybe. |
