one of my favorites songs ever.. and my fav. by tegan and sara!! I think the meaning is really clear.. it's about a break-up, when someone is deeply in love and lost his/her love this song fits perfectly because it's talking about a good relationship maybe the most beautiful everything's right and then suddenly everything fall down so there's no reason or at least happened way too soon that can't remember how could it happen.. so don't know where does all the pretty world, and the magic is gone. I can relate pretty much with situations in these days.. my favorite part is "it's love that leaves and breaks" it really gets there and btw when I heard in grey's anatomy it really took my heart I mean perfect song + perfect show = perfectly AMAZING everything. |

cantt believe there's just one comment!!! this is a beautiful songg.. I think the meaning says that there's a way to feel love like anyone does, or maybe just a few.. it is a way with passion and true love like lovers do.. it is a great feeling that but has to be from both and she's like asking him to feel the same feeling. really lovely, besides the sound, and the voice of heather sounds pretty good! |

i think this song its about when you're to deeply with some friendship and they suddenly betray you and make you feel like crap. I've got a group of friends that they were everything to me.. and day by day our friendship were falling apart.. but of course even though wasn't the same we were still good friends.. but some situations made me and my friendship with those girls fell almost completly apart and the first words that my mind remember were the title of this song.. and the lyric make pretty obvious the situation.. well i know you dont care whats my life have been passing lately but i just wanted to share what i think about this :* |

loveee this sooong im agree with some comments i think it's about a girl who was so lonley and sad about what she was living .. but then she met a guy who helped her and made her feel good.. fell in love and had great times with him "He found her" when she was lost. i love when the song says.. "I guess that you saw what nobody could see you found me" this line is pretty obvious.. this girl were in love in the past.. but that love doesn't worked and after all the pain she lived for that love.. she was found by a guy who really loves her for who is.. that's why this line "the good and the bad and the things in between" that's my interpretation.. I might be wrong.. but this lyric it's pretty obvious as I said. |

| idk at all what this song really means, but for me.. its about between 2 friends that just have differences cause one had some vice or something bad and the other friend really want to help him but he isn't able to hear what his friend it's trying to tell him because he thinks that he's right and no matter what he won't change his mind.. after "the talk" they had as the song says the friend that is wrong still on the bad way and the other friend after all he did.. ask him "where did I go wrong?, I lost a friend.. that part gets me cuz he was doing the right things "helping his friend" and he lost him for that talk..or that situation.. he only wants to be a good friend helping and just rest to pray to God for his friend. | |

Im totally agree .. I think this song it's about saving yourself for that one special.. once you hear all the song you can find the meaning in every word. this song its waaay too meaningfull for me.. and at one point makes me think about what we're able to do.. when we are in love.. or maybe just able to do something (in this case having sex) just for fun I know.. so many times we're desperate or just feeling lonley in this world.. and u might think that loosing your virgnity it's the way to get out of the trouble but then will be too late to have regrets. or in other case.. u might think that that person is the perfect for you.. and is the only one in ur life.. but for other reasons u find out that isn't that person the one who loves you and you've done the mistake.. so basically what I found in this song is that you should save yourself for the one you really love.. (i mean.. wait to marriage or something like that).. u should think twice before u dicide cuz tomorrow could be too late. this song made me think the things better because you never know who's really the perfect person in ur life. |

well, this song represents a lot for me. is one of my fav songs, i guess the number 1 cuz since the moment that I heard I connected with one of my best friends, so I think that it's truly about friendship. all the lines in this song are amazing.. I can't choose just one 'cause every word has so much meaning on me. I had a fight with this friend months ago.. and it was too sad, I was in depression and all my life wasn't good at all.. in fact I wanted to die. this friend was the one who knew everything and how i felt those days.. I needed so much, and she helped me a lot.. but then she did some thing that made me go upset. weeks later we talked and she told me "hear this song" obviously was "blue and yellow" idk if it is about friendship but for me represents my friendship with this girl.. 'cause every word in the lyric says to me all about this fight between us. def. the best song ever.. i just love it. BLUE AND YELLOW ROCKS! |
