This song is simply about him being obsessed with someone and really in love with but he can't have her. But shes out of his league.... or atleast he thinks she is. 'I'm a creep i'm a weirdo' he is putting himself down for not being good enough for her, he wants to be special and perfect like her, so he is in her league whaterver makes her happy whatever she wants he will do just to get her. This song is so powerfull, from first impression it's like a song about being depressed low and maybe even slightly crazy i think it maybe sort of is but because this girl doesn't want him. I so understand it and can relate to it because iv'e felt like this before about someone, its a great and powerfull song, definately my fauverite radiohead tune. |

Ok this song is obviously about being sexually confused..... confused young man punchures his wheel, he then is offered a lift of a handsome young man. He then maybe thinks the man is good looking or attractive, because he thinks why be driving and in control? when you can be on the passenger side and have someone do things for you instead of you doing things for your lover. The confused man is going to get married to a women.... but they obviously have chemistry between them. The confused man says 'i would go out tonight but i havn't got a stitch to wear' possibly out with the charming man (or) to a gay bar. The charming man then flirts with him saying its gruesum a man so handsome should care and persuedes him to return the rings from possibly his wife to be or just a girlfriend. 'He knows so much about these things'. Why does he?....because he's gay. 'Jumped up pantry boy'?? Morrisey has never been reall open about his sexuality i think the pantry means more like the 'closet', hes stuck in the pantry he's sexually confused....
