| Laura Veirs – Through December Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I really like this song. It speaks so clearly about loss. And mourning for your dead lover. I actually see it as the conclusion of the story set up by "Black Eyed Susan" in a way. Laura Veirs writes songs about love better than anyone I have heard |

| Phish – Esther Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't see the puppet as being evil. I don't think it was trying to drown her, it was vulnerable and scared too, and was just trying to hang on. | |

I'm guessing they chose that particular hebrew song for the post-crash segment because it sounded really ethereal. Like the voices you might hear when you've died in a car crash. That's how it strikes me anyway. Ethereal voices singing a song while you drift away. As far as the rest of the song, I'm not really sure. My first impression is that it's a rather scornful goodbye song, perhaps to a woman. |

| The White Stripes – Little Acorns Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I see this song as being quite sarcastic, actually. Maybe that's the wrong perception, but the whole monologue at the beginning doesn't seem like it's the kind of roundabout philosophy that the White Stripes would have. I could be totally wrong, but that's the feeling I get. It seems really like they're making fun of the method that the monologue suggests for getting out of depression. |

| Phish – Wading In The Velvet Sea Lyrics | 19 years ago |

The expression "Wading in the Velvet Sea" is rather clearly a metaphor for sex. Besides that, I think it has to do with a lot of the emotions that come along with sex, and maybe trying to express those to one another, and not being able to explain. |

| Phish – Fikus Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I can understand what the first verse is about. Someone, possibly a significant other gave him something, or did something for him, without want of compensation. Just because she wanted to. The rest of the song is describing what she did for him. |

| Phish – Fast Enough For You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yeah, the title itself implies that the singer wants his partner to be happy, but she wants to progress their relationship faster than he does. | |
| Phish – Brian And Robert Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think it's a beautiful way of extending some love to lonely people. A very meaningful song. | |
