| Matthew Good Band – A Boy And His Machine Gun Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I heard a story a while back about a child soldier, who somehow escaped and ended up in America. I always figured this was kind of about how hard that change would be. From being forced to be a boy with a machine gun, to ending up in our modern society. |

| I think it's about Canadians embracing American culture over time. | |
| Matthew Good Band – Everything Is Automatic Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Seems like it's just trying to say life is more important then our automatic stuff. Also want to add that I love way he sings the lines "Do you miss your lazy boy Do you miss your TV Do you miss yourself " |

| Nine Inch Nails – Zero-Sum Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm going to post my whole thought on the album... It seems like it's a narrative. The first 8 tracks set the stage, "The Warning" is the triggering event, the the next three show the slow entropic effect that the Presence from "The Warning" has on people. "The Great Destroyer" is the climax, where (I think) someone triggers a world wide cataclysm/the presence "Wipes this place clean". "In this twilight" is the thoughts of some of the last humans as they slowly die off and "Zero-Sum" is the collective reflection of our whole race. |

| Nine Inch Nails – 1,000,000 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I was thinking this while I listened to it. This song seems to come off as the anti-hurt. The characters convayed in both songs seemed like polar opposites. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – Letting You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Warsong, your exactly what this song is about. Why did you rat the kid out? Because Drugs are bad? who told you that? The Government? Speaking of which, this song is pretty sweet. |

| Nine Inch Nails – The Good Soldier Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think this is about the singer killing someone who used to be his friend, part of the revolutionaries or something. "Remember what you said..." Him remembering things they used to talk about... "Blood, hardens in the sand, hope you understand the way that things are going to be..." Him after killing his old friend...telling himself that he had too for the good of the nation ect... |

| Finger Eleven – Falling On Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Off hand, I'd say the song is about the singers inspiration to write his songs, that spark he can fall on when he looses his way (Writers block) | |
| Finger Eleven – Tip Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Don't have to be smart to half ass the education system. I did as well...but I'm no genius. They don't care about what they don't see right infront of them. But yeah, seems like it's about someone surviving day to day not really trying. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Capital G Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Actually Soldier1288, I think Trent is singing from the perspective of someone like P3N1X :P | |
| Nine Inch Nails – My Violent Heart Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I don't know why, But I keep picturing an army of dead/mutilated soldiers (Maybe psychologically damaged) "into fire you can send us, from the fire we return. you can label us a consequence of how much you have to learn. " |

| Matthew Good – She's In It For The Money Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah I agree. He intro'd it at our concert by saying "This song is for women who love expensive purses and the dumb f***ing guys who buy them for them. | |
| Sevendust – Ugly Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'd say J and Mgalovic pretty much hit it dead on. | |
