well i have my own interpretation. to me it can be used more widely than it seems. to me, this song gives me an idea about how craig feels determined to overcome anything that gets in his way, and that will end up victorious. by the media and stuff he might also be representing all those things that are obstacles in our lives.

sometimes we are too busy attending ourselves that we forget about others - we dont pay attention to the little things that some people who find it hard to express themselves do to find love...I can tell this because of personal experience - sometimes people dont tend to understand the feelings of those forgotten people until the moment they feel lonely themselves... |

this is a very good song. I agree with i love JF, its a song that I have also looped and after a while, it feels weird but also kind of relazing...because it feels like if you really regret doing something...
Well, about John's point of view, he is regretting all his drug usage and life before he entered rehab. This song is very self-explanatory but that doesnt mean it has little meaning. About the "stay alone" part - it also happens to me...when you feel kind of sheepish after doing something wrong...the only way i can regret and try to analyze the problem and find a solution for it is by being alone - usually with my guitar with me. |

i love this song...for me it means how sometimes having goals in you mind dont let you live the moment. in interviews john has said that what makes him a great artist is the fact that he lives each moment as a very special moment and that makes the moment a very good one, gaining experience, and this makes goals come to ones hands. |
