I disagree antennas because of the line "Seek the divine" which I can only think must refer to a higher being such as the Christian God. As for the line "abandon the safety of mindless following", I think what Howard is trying to say is how people feel they have to do certain things to feel a part of a group such as peer pressure into drugs or alcoholism. He wants people to think about their actions and not be mindless about them. I think someone who is "mindless" would probably not be a Christian because being being faithful requires the ability to ponder and comprehend the idea that there may be a higher being. But that's just my opinion. |
