This song is pretty obviously about a man who stalked a woman until he raped/killed her. It is similar in theme to "Closed Casket Requiem" by The Black Dahlia Murder, but faaar less gorey. Here are some things I found notable: "Your body is mine to avail Such a tragic sight you are Slave under my creed Spurring me with those tears" - Exactly how they were explained before, I can do whatever I want with you, you're weak and broken, I have control, your crying makes me feel stronger. All this asserts his dominance and the pleasure he gets from having power. "Draw murder into art" - It was more than murder, it was exact and artistic. This shows that it wasn't a random killing, it had feelings and emotions driving it. "Grew together with your skin And paced the trails of sin" - He started to feel an attachment to her, almost like love, due to his murderous and violent obsession. He spent a lot of time thinking about it and planning it. "Your gaze covered with virgin snow Rigid features" - I assume this means she cried, the "virgin snow" being her tears. The second part is self explanatory. "It was worth it for the wait alone" - A lot of sociopaths get as much pleasure from the hunt as they do from the kill. There are a lot more lines about hiding his beast, all of them are rather basic in theme, although an exact interperatation would be difficult. |

| When he says he recognizes all the people passing by I think he's saying that everybody is all the same and he has to leave the place because he can't stand where he is. | |
