This song means so much to me. Two of my greatest friends (and my brothers best friends) got in a car accident. Mike was rushed off to the hospital and Dustin (RIP) (this doesn't seem real) did not make it. Both of them only 22 years old. One of the guys made a slide show and this song is playing in the background. All I can say is wow, could this song fit anymore? Isn't it strange, the way things can change? The life that you lead, turned on its head...... I will forever remember you Dustin Plummer. RIP. You are in paradise right now, tell everyone "Aloha" for us. |

This song is amazing (lyrically). To me this is about 2 lovers who deep down inside never knew it would work, especially him. They were trying to go against all odds (they were the standing joke of the year). I think everyone else thought they wouldn't last, and like I said, him especially thought they wouldn't last, but he had to prove himself and everyone wrong, therefore he endured the relationship, that ended up to be a failure, and once again, a joke. I love the line"you in a cocktail dress, me in a suit, but it just wasn't me". I think he was in love with a wild chick, when in reality he needed/wanted the stable life/someone to marry, etc. |

I love this song. Its so beautiful. I think this is about a sudden breakup that wasn't expected. And it is all so new, hence "I can taste you now". I think it just happened, and it's not like they were fighting or there was tention at all, but it just happened. And he was her world. She based her happiness/day to day life on this person. And maybe I'm wrong, but maybe he was her first? Maybe that's where black cherry comes from? Maybe I'm wrong :) |

This song is beautiful! I believe this song is about a hopeless relationship. Where the girl has been in many many relationships. But every single one, including this one, right when the relationship develops into a more serious level "theres a place where you are going, you ain't never been before", but then she directly/indirectly takes a step back. He had always been there for her, always with her, always reassuring her she should not be insecure, but finally he threw in the towel, "lost cause". He couldn't do it anymore. |

This song is great. It is about a girl who has it all, but is with someone who shows/tells her otherwise. This girl could have it all in regards to a loving relationship, but instead she is drawn to the one person who she knows will never fully love her/treat her well/appreciate her. I think basically it's about a girl who has everything going for her, she has always had people in her life that would do ANYTHING for her, that ADORE her, but she is with/wants the one a@# who will make her feel low. |

This is a song about finding a new beginning from an end, "I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset". She is explaining to the other person, that he really doesn't know her, that he doesn't know her trials and errors in her life, "you don't wear my chains". I think this is ultimately about a relationship where one is just not intune with the other person, and never had been. I think everyone does have have their own "boston". Whether it is through music, travel, etc. It is some form of escape to try to find yourself and perhaps the others in your life. |
