its obvious this song is about most of the time, kids being fixed in their ways because of their parents. But when I find love so bright in the alleyway, they throw her overboard, I watch her get lost in the wake. i think this verse really explains the song. love doesn't have to be found in a church. Jesus picked the lowest people in status. blind beggers, fishermen, prostitutes. an alley is not the main road. |

i think the "carry on my way son..." verse is like God telling his son, carry on, and don't stop until the end. he warns about going astray and about meeting dead men, people who don't have salvation. and he says to not wait too long before he starts on his journey. |

p.s. things will be even worse for christians during the tribulation as well, worse than before the rapture. biblically. and if you don't believe it, go read the book of revelations, it's the last book in the bible. or ask a pastor what tribulation and rapture is, and what will happen. every prophecy made in the bible has come true. it is not going to be wrong. |

before the rapture things for christians will be terrible. we will be treated as the Jews were in the Holocaust. first the socialists took the jewish children out of the schools. (notice how hard it is today for christianity to be accepted in public schools, but it's okay for every other religion/thing that goes against our beliefs?) then they attacked the businesses, and so on and so forth. The holocaust is going to happen again, but it will be targeted towards christians. and this time, the whole world will be on one side, EXACTLY as this song states. the strong christians need to rise and stand now more than ever in these dark times. (granted, with the Love Jesus teaches, and NOT with radicalism) we are at the forefront of war. and it is set in stone in the bible. |

pretty much the whole cd is about the tribulation/rapture. they are a christan band, and I'm guessing their name is from the verse in Ephesians, 5:14 "Wake up, O sleeper rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" I'm guessing. plus yes, pretty much every song shows depictions in words from the book of revelations. |

re thought : the bible says when god comes back, we won't need the sun because the light of his glory will fill every crack and crevasse in the earth with light. (eliminating night). I think the literal meaning of the song doesn't matter. it's more of what it means to you. put it in your perspective and run with it, as long as it is backed by good ambitions. =) |

from one friend to another... thereisarisk, why does it bother you? you seem almost offended by christians loving the music and not caring that there are also Jewish and Islamic influences. almost as if you dont want them to listen to it, because they are christian. or, that's what I got from reading your comment. to me, these songs are like stones to build up my faith in God and Jesus, and live a better, and closer life with him. yeah he uses verses and ideas from the bible, things I have found in there myself, and phrases from Islam and other things, but I dont get why you get ticked off. =/ sorry. hope you get better. |

maybe the "see the world as one" means in faith? instead of people sinning, and satan, only see christianity. the people united as one through Jesus. just a thought. I definetly think the sun and the moon are good and bad. God's loving eye, God's punishing eye. |

this whole cd has a recurring theme, the Fox. the bible, in matthew 8:20 Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has no place to lay his head. i think the cd kind of represents that verse. amestheamazing hit the nail on the head for the first verse. when he lived with the sin, he was the egg in the nest. bound to be eaten by the fox. bound to be destroyed by satan. i think everyone who has commented on this song so far is right. =) |

I think this is the meaning for the chorus. Mark 12:15 "Why are you trying to trap me?" the people were trying to "catch him in his words." haha, you cant sin and expect good things to happen. just my thoughts though. |
