I think the song is about feeling like an outsider and just wanting something to happen to you that only you know about. 'Show me the world as I'd love to see it'. 'I'd tell all my freinds but they'd never believe me'. This line kind of suggests he'd be happy just to know what happened for himself and be... enlightened I suppose. |
