I was under the impression that a main reason that Charlize and Stephan broke up was because she wanted to get married and he rejected the idea at the time. In the end where the lyrics say "I want to be your Crystal Baller I want to be your diamond ring The one I never gave you and the promise that it brings Let me be your Crystal Baller " It seems as though Stephan may have realized later that he did want to marry her and this song was an attempt to show her that. I think that a lot of the lyrics on Out of the Vein are about Charlize Theron and their break up. |
