this song was suposed to go on the 14 shades of grey album but they didnt think it was good enough if you buy the chapter V dvd thing it comes with a cd and this song is on it but I think that it is kind of a statement from Aaron on how he has started to grow a little bit if you listen to their first couple of albums you see how "dark" or painful his lyrics are but since he has got married and had kids he is alot happier and has let go of alot of his anger so his lyrics arent going to be as dark or painful just perosnal thought still I think this is one of their best songs and one of my favorites of all time great song glad they put it out some how |

I think that this song is talking about how people with a drinking/drug problem look to those things as their gods and will do anything to get them so when he says jesus wont you fucking whistle hes just saying that these things that people always turn to arent real and cant help you and if you watch the video the guy keeps going back to the box to see if anything is there aand that makes me think that they are talking about drugs/drinking because eventually everyone who has a problem and doesnt get out hits rock bottom and there is nothing left |

I have always thought of this song to be about people who are two faced and put on a show to be angels around certain people but in reality they arent verry good people and that is the line "not to pull your halo down, around your neck and tug you off your cloud" I think is when people realize that that person isnt what they thought |

I dont know how true this is but I have heard that Maynards mom is named Judith and that she got in a car wreck and was paralyzed and that this song is kind of a tribute to her because maynard was so amazed that she would stay faithfull in what ever religion she was in when other people fall away and blame god on things much weaker than that but that could have been a story my buddy made up Im not 100% sure |
