In life there are many things that are painful. For people the hardest part of these situations is letting go. I think this song is mainly about the writer asking what was the point of the trials he went through "I could feel it go down It is sweet I could taste in my mouth Silver lining the clouds Oh and I... I wish that I could work it out" he says that some positive things did come out of his trials "Silver lining the clouds" the second to last part "Everything I know is wrong Everything I do, it just comes undone And everything is torn apart" Is a section that talks about all the things the writers does and how the come apart and fail The song is simply about how hard it is to let go of painful situations |
