I'd say it's obviously about the death of the one/two former members, not quite sure when the dude who was fired actually died. Back being back on the chain gang signifies her/Chambers getting back into studio and doing music without the two that helped them get to where they were and just getting over it. You can probably go the other route with an old lover as well...but it'd make more sense with the above. |

If it doesn't sound like Bono to you, then you need to listen to more U2, sorry but there are obvious moments. Yeah, i think it's a great song, the meaning is fairly obvious, love is the window to god. Also, the guy who said U2 need to branch out, are you having a laugh, they've branched out plenty in their career, if the albums are still good im happy. |
