It seems to me that this song is about 'scene kids' or 'emo kids' whatever you like to label them, being put down for no reason. "I hate to see these kids just being put down so painlessly. And people say you Dye your hair and wear tight jeans, that doesnt mean.That you cant scream, or like loud noise, you got a choice, you have a voice." And saying that just because people hate you and make fun of you, it doesn't mean you can't fight back, "you got a choice, you have a voice." This part sort of confuses me. I think they're saying they understand how they feel. But at the same time I'm iffy about it. Like maybe they are just making fun and understanding them at the same time? I don't know. But the whole song is really obvious. It's just kind of telling people about what it's like being a 'scene or emo kid' and people labeling you as one just because you dress a certain way or dye your hair or because you have problems at home and with relationships and whatnot. I gave this my best shot. This was my first comment. |
