I have to say, Pirate punk is right. taken from "The Answer" on thebrpage.net: Greg said about the song (written by Jay) that "it's grammatically incorrect, makes no sense, we all hate it, and never play it live." Bluetears, the Tom in this song and "Give you nothing" is a different Tom than Tommy in "Along the way" The Tommy "Along the way" is refering to The Who's rock opera, Tommy. The last track on that album is "I'm Free". Also, this song was written by Greg who most likely didn't know Tom(He was Brett's friend, not Greg's), and Tom died in a car accident 2 years after "Along the way" was written. Other than that you, chiefhky29 and opivy7898 are right about everyone. |
