i think this song is about finding that person that settles you down only to find that you've lost yourself in all the drugs & alcohol. she goes through drugs & alcohol because that's the only way that she could feel good before then she finally meets somebody who makes her feel better than those things did but can't find herself to quit because of her addiction.

not sure what's been said about this song i don't feel like reading through all the posts...but i think it's about a guy who's locked up that got cheated on. not sure if it was brad himself or what...but a sancho is the guy that your old lady is messin around with when you're locked up. maybe in a sense he felt like he was in prison because of his drug problem...

^One of the best things about this site is reading interpretations from all different points of views. Just like looking at a portrait, I can get so many different feelings completely opposite of yours. Even if you don't feel what the creator felt while making it, doesn't mean you're wrong. It was really cool to hear the true meaning of the song, but really arrogant of you to assume that your comment was going to end all further discussions.

I believe it's sort of a Johnny Cash to June Carter song if that makes any sense. That's the idea I got from it since I first heard it...if you know anything about his life & love for her it really fits.

This is such a beautiful song. I honestly think that its about an older man reminiscing on his past, maybe looking through a scrapbook of memories. Sounds like he could've possibly been a WWII veteran, many of these men had pictures of pinup girls. Maybe he looked at this picture while he was in the war and possibly fell in love with what he thought was the image of perfection and the only thing that kept him going.

I think its about an orgy. She actually only wants one certain guy in the group and she'll keep on going and watch him w/other girls until she gets to him. Then she'll be the best that he had the whole time. Not trying to be perverted...it really makes sense.
