to me, its about trying to make the relationship work because he's never had a love like her before, and it hurts him so bad to see it dying like it that he's trying to make it work even though it seems impossible. they still love each other, and they miss each other.. but theyre just so stuck in the problem & so pissed about it that they cant do anything about it.its like moving mountains. its just one of those situations you have to be in to truly understand, or the emotion of the song would be underestimated. |

I don't know what I get from this song, to me it could be so many things. Like what venushalley said, a long distance relationship; like whenever they see each other, it's weird, but when they're miles away it's easier for him to act like he still loves her, and that's the best they're gonna get. But idk, i feel it could be metaphorical. Like she feels like she's miles away in the sense that they don't connect like they used to, and it's like they're so far away. I'm probably wrong, but beautiful song nonetheless! |

love this song, love the lyrics idk why but to me, when he says "I took a picture of a girl I once knew, in case i'd run into her" i think he says that she changed, not for the good, and he kept a picture just in case he'd run into her again as her old self I stop your breathin everytime Im around girl Your body's sweatin and your hands start to shake I know you can't control your eyes but i know that your looks are fake So tease me once and I swear I'll forget how it feels when youve got nothing left well take it slow and only work at it sometimes they still love each other i think but they cant be together for some reason. he misses her a lot though, he woulden't even mind if she teased him once because then at least for a while he'd forget how it felt to be so lonely probably wrong though haha :) |
