I swear I haven't seen a video of the strokes where Julian looks even remotely sober But the bands amazing and the drugs and alcahol make him the guy we all know and love My ex is obsessed with him and actually wants to be Jules Its quite funny really |

"any guy that loves this song i would fall in love with." i so agree with you there! haha DEFINATELY the best minus the bear song written i love the idea of loving someone so much and being so far away from them and feeling like you'd do anything to make them happy and you want to share your happiness with them by putting your experience into a song and bringing it to them reminds me of my ex beautiful beautiful song i can imagine myself there every time i listen to it |

that was too much for him he had a daughter he hoped to live through four years old, ten years reach to this girl he hoped that his daughter who was younger would at least reach 4 and then longer ten years to reach this girls age that means she 14 not 4 i didnt really listen to the lyrics first time around so i assumed he saw something during work or something that he didnt wasnt his girlfriend to see and be hurt by because in pachuca sunrise, which is the next song, he talks about how much he loves her and would do anything to make her happy haha i didnt realy realise how sad and powerful the story of this song really is untill i read the lyrics RIP the girl whos story this song is based on |

| Escape the Fate – The Day I Left The Womb Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Im pretty sure its "if you see mother tell her i can say" its supposed to lead onto the next bit as if the next bit is what he wants to say to his mother And i think its "so use your chemicals and take this to your grave" and "the boys you left are me you didnt raise" Just from what I can hear and what I think would make sense && i love the song and think Ronnies voice is awsome Oh and BTW; ETF's record label call them emo on their own website, just so you know > |

That whole 666 thing is a little scary and honestly why would Ryan Ross want to put a secret coded message in this song? Like he said on the dvd some of the songs are just storys he made up and this one just happens to have an allusion to the sound of music. I don't think he would want to tke a public stab at catholics or anything or try to tun anyone to satan or anything thats just silly. I agree with the person above me, I definately think its trying to show how there is no purity left in the world. I wouldn't talk this to seriously its only a song. A very good song but nothing to go have a bitch about guys. Kthnxbaii |

| Panic! at the Disco – Camisado (Relax, Relapse) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

ACTUALLY! If you look at the lyrics on the lyric cards in the limited edition box set the lyrics are different and its actually supposed to say: "You can take the kid from the fight but you can't take the fight from the kid" Which I think makes much more sense because you can take the kid out of the fight physically but the memory of the fight and the drive to fight will always be there, which is the fight in the kid. |

Whatever emo is its not going to go away by people telling them to go kill themselves or fuck off or by telling them its just a stupid genre of music. Personally I think its a subculture which has gained too many negitive stereotypes but many emos are good people who are just misunderstood but thats just me. Everyone has a right to be and listen to whatever they want and if you have a problem go have a fucking cry about it. ANYWAYS this is about lyrics and not about what emo is and not a we hate or we love emo club so ill say something about these lyrics...THEY FUCKING RAWK! Hawthorne heights rock!!! The whineyness is sexy hehe And really i dont care if its repetive at least its easier to sing horribly to x] |

though it kinda dosent really make sense if you put it together like zeroauthority states i agree with most of what icemetalpunk has written it is about ryans father and his problems with alcahol and abuse if you do research youll find out that when he was young he didnt get along with his father and he had problems its really a meaningful song which ties in with nails for breakfast tacks for snacks its basically about the same thing but set in a different place, here being in a hospital im not sure what surprise attack during the night has to do with it but maybe ryans dad abused him randomly during the night as a result of his constant drinking? |

Wasnt this song and Camisado all about Ryan Ross' alcaholic father? "Watch your mouth Your speech is slurred enough That you just might swallow your tongue" i think its about his dad being drunk "The hospice is A relaxing weekend getaway Where you're a cut above all the rest Sick and sad patients On first name basis with all the top physicians" could be like a rehab centre And basically Ryan is saying drinking isnt helping its ruining his life and getting him a step closer to hell. Im getting a feeling his dad could have been abusive aswell "I am Alone, in this bedroom She never fixes this But at least she Makes me forget" this makes him sound like he is alone at home and saying his mother isnt really helping the whole situation but shes talikng his mind of everything I could be wrong but this is just what i get from it all. |
