pricillacox - you sound pretty much right on point.
but to me, this song is about something a lot different. I was in the car right next to one of my best friend's car when a drunk driver slammed into the back of it. One of my best friends was in the backseat of that car and was killed on impact.
this song reminds me so much of him. he was such an irreplaceable person. i don't mean to say that anyone is replaceable, but if you ever met will, you would understand.
but anyway. this song reminds me of him a lot and i love when it comes up on shuffle in my itunes. it makes me smile.

i actually found them on a page on last.fm and i edited them a little to what i thought was said. but k'naan is extremely hard to understand in this song at times. i personally like the live version much more because there seems to be a little more emotion in it. but all in all, k'naan is amazing |
