This song is really beautiful and I agree with all of the above posts. To me the symbolism of the gun is so deep. It is this violent machine symbolizing their relationship. The "if you don't shoot it how am I supposed to hold it" lyric seems like, how am I supposed to keep this relationship together if you are not an active participant. Another great song. |
