I LOVE THIS SONG. I can't even believe they have this song on here. Everytime I see them I BEG Andy to play this and he always just laughs at me... because who the hell remember this song?! It's a Fizzlewink song- yes, Fizzlewink. That was the name of their band BEFORE The Getaway, BEFORE Matchbook Romance. This song isn't actually by "matchbook romance". It's by The Getaway. They haven't played it in years, so I guess it wouldn't be on any cd. I don't think it's about Evie- because Andy was still with her when he played this song. So it must have just been about someone else. I do know for a fact however that Tiger Lilly is about Evie. |

I don't know why anyone hasn't posted on this song. It's so amazing, and this band rocks. This hits real close to home for me because this is where I am right now with my long-term boyfriend. It's like the feeling you get when you know that the person is going to walk away, and you hope they're coming back. I think the overcrowded room is just this sense of overwhelming with everything that's going on or has gone on in the relationship. Idk. I just really like it. |

Arguably the best song on the album. Had it since it came out and it's been the standout song to me since I got it. It's definalty mocking Adam from TBS though. I think I heard that somewhere.... Well anyway. BN played this amazing live. Jesse is incredible. |

It cracks me up to see that people are still commenting on a song that came out 6 years ago. My friend and I were remeniscing and this song came up, so I wanted to see if this site had the lyrics... (even though I know all of them) even though this site has primarily 'punk' bands on it. I haven't listened to Hanson in years... but I was a huge fan. And you know what? While I was listening to a bunch of little kids who could write their own music and play their own instruments... my friends were all listening to shitty British girlbands. Who the fuck has the right to insult Hanson when the Spice Girls were popular? At least Hanson could write their own shit. Half the bands today don't write their music, and it's worse than this. At least this is their original shit. When Britney or NSync or any of those bands learn how to be musicians... maybe these guys can be insulted. Until then, they were probably the most talented 11-13-15yr olds around. Rock on. |

Noone has posted on this song in a while. But I have to. My friend recently got into a car accident and has been in a coma for the past few weeks. She's 19. It really upset me and this was the first song that popped into my head when people told me. It's just such a powerful subject and now it hits home.

A very very good cover. I usually hate covers... but they did the song a lot of justice. However, this has been my favorite summer song since I was 7 so i can't say it's better than the original. Someone posted they didn't know who Henley was... lead singer for the Eagles dude. He went solo shortly after they broke up. I read on a review for this song someone said that the original sucked. People really need to know what they talk about before they type nonsense. Ok... now that I'm done rambling... this is such a perfect summer song. A plus. |

I felt the need to correct you. Champs Elysee is actually a section of Paris, much like NY is devided into like Queens and Manhattan. And Aux Champs Elysees means In Champs Elysees. Idk, thought I'd add that. Champs Elysees is actually very close to the Moulin Rouge, and quite a lovely place if I might add. On the corner over by the Moulin Rouge (at the end of the street) there is actually a kickass punk club, but unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to go, but when I was there, there was some famous french punk band setting up, is there such thing as a good french punk band? I'm not sure. But NoFx rocks, and this is an awesome song off an awesome album. |
