| The Sisters of Mercy – Nine While Nine Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Love the song, not really sure what it means, however the line "Lipstick on my cigarrette" appears in Driven Like the Snow as well. | |
| The Cranberries – Zombie Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Personally I think that this song is about war of any kind. Whether it takes place over decades and countries; within a home; with other people or within your own head, WAR IS WAR and it affects everyone! This song is about what it feels like to have been touched by, to have witnessed or experienced war of any kind. | |

| Evanescence – Lithium Lyrics | 19 years ago |

This song appears to be about, as mentioned before, depression. The title Lithium suggests that it is about bi-polar disorder, how ever though the general audience analysis seems to be that it is about depression and though i agree that is about depresssion, however the line "drown my will to fly" does support the bi-polar theory as symptoms of mania include dilussion of ability to fly, owever the songs focus seems to be strongly on depression which then makes me question the title then as Lithium is not used to treat depression but mania and is perscribe to people with other mental illnesses then bi-polar disorder So in conclusion, this has been a rambling and pointless point good night |

| The 69 Eyes – Feel Berlin Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This song is about the actual city of Berlin and various historical events that occured there. "There's the Zoo alive as the city sleeps tonight " Is refering to the bombing of Berlin during the second World War, when one of the bombs fell on the Berlin Zoo and set it on fire in the night. "Eternal divided dream" Refers to the crushed dreams of those living in East Berlin during the Soviet occupation and the literal division of the city during the Cold War. "Just life that's what it is Don't be afraid of an angel's kiss Just life that's what it is Don't be afraid of A criminal kiss" This basically states that this is only life and there is nothing to be done about it, so you must not be afraid, of either salvation (angel's kiss) or damnation (crminal kiss). The concept of "feeling Berlin" or "Feel Berlin" is possibly the idea of having sympathy for the city and the people in it who have been through so much, or possibly getting the vibe of the city. |
