Yeah, I innitially thought it was about sex, but, now that I do read how people can connect it with Drugs, it is entirely possibly. Because I have seen many people use the connection between Pills and Ecstasy with candy. I think I'll consider the Drug connection with it, but, I'll stick with the sex part. I think it's about a girl who begs for sex from either many men or one man because she's addicted to it. Though.. Trading in sex for Drugs idea sort of fits in well too.. Well, we all can agree that Lollipop has some sort of sexual innuendo in it. |

I honestly believe that this song is about sex. "My Roses are red"... Yeah, I mean, I've used the term "Come Pick my Flower" before to my last ex on the phone. And I highly agree that this song is about having an orgasm. But, also, I was wondering if it could be a song about virginity, in a way. "Don't Take My Roses Away!" But, that could also mean "Don't stop, don't take this away!" This is a wonderful song to move your body to, though. |

I adore this song. And, i love how it sounds, too! Yeah, I'll say it, lol. It's called Bubblegum-Techno, by the way. Not Pop. Pop-like. But, it's pretty much even Happier than Happy Hardcore Techno, haha! I love how they bash Barbie dolls right to left in this song! And yes, it is true, Mattel even tried to SUE Aqua for the double entendres in this song. They're pretty much calling Barbie dolls, and maybe even real life Barbie Girls, Fake, Ditsy, Slutty, and you can control her so easily. So, she's also highly manipulable. Who cares if this was so popular in one point in time. It has a valid point to it! And, I guarantee that most of the people that helped make this so popular were little Barbie Girls who had no clue that THEY were being mocked, lol. |
