Dropkick Murphys – The Green Fields of France (Eric Bogle cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is from the poem by Scot Eric Bogle. I love how dropkick did this! And jsut cause they're irish doesnt mean they can't sing an irish poem. They do it very well. The song isn't hard to figure out. It's about the cost of world war I. and about how the writer doesn't think it was worth the cause. The war didn't end wars, only sparked another not long after. so they where in fact dying in vain to him.

Dropkick Murphys – 10 Years of Service Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is about all the strikes and pickets that where goin on shortly before and after 2000....Irish bands seem to have an affinity with singing about that kind of thing. Still good music tho.
