wow i think yall ppl read way into this stuff amy isnt the posterchild for christianity thank god bc she's more the way i believe in god and most "so called" christians find her to be satanic. i think this song is not predicting anything but is rather referring to dark times where u feel alone and swept up by everything and out of control. it reminds us that u are not alone in your pain and its kind of selfish to believe your pain is worse than anything else. and the post above me is just a wacko its referring to the lies of the world, greed, materialism and false prophets like these crazy tv evangelists who are leading people into madness rather than understanding and love |

this song was so awesome live a person cant always be sad and like amy states in lithium she feels in love with her sorrow alot and thats a beautiful thing that leads to understanding alot about life but this shows that she isnt sad all the time and is happy with life. and responding to another post above about the lyrics "and i've completely lost myself and I dont mind, I can't say no to you" love makes u that way and even though it sounds kind of unhealthy what is love but daring and dangerous and awesome this song is so powerful and shows that she's got soul |
