Oh yeah! and it says something about paddling in the fountain, and that they weren't ignorant, they were happy. Aw I love this song. I think it's about two lovers (duh) who are kinda new to it all, and a bit nervous around each other. And how they aren't really sure about it. Dancing being Sex ofcourse "one thing, I could never confess, is that I can't dance a single step", referring to him not being sure if he can "do it" right. It's a cute song. Love it x |

Aw this awesome song is so adorably sweet it makes me smile everytime I hear it! To me it is about him admitting that he will always be there, whatever happens, yet at the end, he realises that the one he is confessing to doesnt see him at all. It's really cute the way he sings it. A lovely voice If i do say so. But it's really sad cos she obviously doesnt really appreciate him and his being-there-ness. "and you just want somebody to come find you" He is lost Alone, desperate for her Yet, alas she is pretty much blind. x |

He really is way ahead of his time. It's nice owning music that sounds different everytime you hear it. That's what I get anyways. I think he is simply saying how crap life is at the moment of writing this. Maybe he was asked by a child? "why are things so bad?" and replied "there aint no reason". But he also gives us all hope saying "i do believe, love will set me free" restoring out faith in good (love) and his appreciation for such. Ending on "we do it everyday" is kinda a little sublimibnal message as to question yourself "why" you do it everyday. x |

Sounds just like he is asking whether or not she feels the same, I think the song is about realising the person you like doesnt know. You always just assume they know, but in reality they dont. I think that it may be about praying, because in seeking god you seek answers? "And if all our days are numbered, then why do I keep counting?" Sounds like he is asking the very meaning of life, or at least the meaning of his life. The chorus soudns like he is deciding a path for himself, like he can do it "help me get down, I can make it, help me get down" Help, no don', no help. And then at the end he says if I only knew the answers, siunds like he is almost apologising for bothering this "father" And that he just needs the answers to do it for himself. I think the ending sounds as if he is just trying so hard to reach his happiness, coming up with many options that can bring the happiness he seems to search for. And then the last line "and if all of our days are numbered" Sang as usual, but the then why do i keep counting trails into the background as if it is a question we shall never answer Lovely song, one of the best on the album x |

yeah you are sooo right : ) But i still go by my interpretation of the word "bar" I think it does mean an electric heater/fire, the ones that are single use, you take them camping. I think they are sat aroud it, or lying around it, and that set the fire to the third bar means turn up the heat. "after I have travelled so far, we'd set the fire to the third bar" After she has come all this way, they turn up the heat.....
