It's about someone seeing the person someone close to them but only in a dream. The dream seems perfectly real and everything is just like how it was (happy times) until the light invades and wakes them up. Interesting use of light as being something bad rather than the stereotypical good. This song always makes me sad everytime I hear it because I've had my best friend hang himself because her parents were really mean to her. It's a good song in that it makes me believe that she is still here. |

I think "Cause I wouldn't believe you if you said the same to me" relates directly to her saying that she doesn't need him. It's probably that the guy is trying to make it up to the girl. "Someone, somewhere said somethings that may have sparked some sympathy But don't believe, don't believe a word you heard about me." These two is him saying that people may talk about him but to not listen to what they are saying (that he is not caring about his gf). This song is amazing. It's also great for performances because it starts off soft but builds up. This makes it perfect for starting off a gig. AWESOME band in general. Wish they would come to Canada :(. |
