that's a nice romantic line, it brings the scrambled meaning of these lyrics somewhat closer together.
I think the song references various subtle emotions experienced in a relationship and how at the end of the day having someone makes everything seem better. |

i think this song is about certain scary american stereotypes. and also about the average american and worldwide spread of american culture. "god is an american" can be a reference to the same phenomena and the power and influence of the US upon all other nations. |

what's this song about? i think the title is suggestive of performing sexual service somehow. but the song doesn't really reflect that explicitly. except maybe for the second last verse. |
