| I think this song is about a guy going to a bar that isn't very nice, and then meeting a girl there, and trying to convince her to spend just one night with him. | |
| Super Furry Animals – Venus And Serena Lyrics | 18 years ago |

It's funny, at the start of the inside leaf lyrics to this song, there are the lines: "I was raised by wolves until the age of two, During that time, my best friends and closest confidants were my pet turtles, Venus and Serena" explains the last lines of the song about the son being found outside. But i'd say it's about growing up too, about how scary and confusing things in the adult world are, and how his childhood innocence has gone("Father father father when i look to the past, i didn't realise that it wouldn't last"). |

| I'm thinking that this song is about homelessness, and the way it seperates you from things. The line 'I can't speak, I can't hear, but i know i'm real" Maybe thats to do with the idea that when your homeless, nobody listens to you and will say whatever around you because your not a person to them, so to speak. Looking at the lyrics, thats how i interpret it. | |

Its underestimated mate. Miserable for most of the year, and then some. Beautiful song though, bears meaning to me being one who lives around Brighton. |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – We Believe Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Anthony said in an interview the song was about pixies on the African Serrengeti, and while that sounds quite a nice subject for a song it is about the new disc and whether or not it will work. | |
| Moby – Raining Again Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think its about a relationship and how he tried to make it work, but how its all fallen apart. At the first he doesn't know or see it falling apart and wants to stay in it: "Coudln't see that I had guessed, Couldn't see, couldn't stay away" Then he talks about how his relationship was empty, but he stayed in it thinking it would improve, even though he doesn't realise it. Because of this, he's stuck in the relationship. "Nothing here but nothing less Cold heart stuck in this Couldn't say the kindest words we knew" Then it goes on to say how he had to give it up as it wasn't working for him: "Didn't even stopped to see that That it was breaking me and the world is coming out so cold" The ending line is talking about how he feels now that its all stripped away. Now the relationship has ended, its like its started raining again. |

this song is similar to natural blues and find my baby. He took a sampling and worked with that. It sounds very bluesy, i'm sure its an old worksong or something like that. Catchy. But anyway, if we're going to have idiots posting, could we please assign them to the appropriate section? Thankyou. |
