this is one of the best songs on the new CD!! Idk i havent really listened to it or thought about it enough to really figure out the exact meaning.. it kinda sounds like someone close to him commited suicide... or to a lesser extent left him in a relationship. |

Alright this song is about going back to your old friends. Basically when TEM broke up this is how they felt when they got back together. The song describes the conflict, time apart, and time back together of the entire thing. |

I really cant hear a notable difference between the Ransom EP version of this song and the Chroma version... I would guess it was the same damn track just the chroma version has a little more of a crisp sharper sound. |

Im not quite getting the exact meaning from everyone else.. the way this song comes out to me.. is that they r starting to grow up, and they r starting to realize that life doesnt always turn out the way u dream of it as a child.. they lose their innocence by doing things they were told not to do like smoking marijuana.. partying, to deal with reality after graduating highschool.. and life is really abstract after highschool and before u settle down into the adultworld.. trust me Im in that section of life now, you kinda feel like ur making the worse mistakes and falling into a hole because the dreams of ur future really arent held on a pedestal anymore.. they r here.. they r smoking pot knowing its wrong and killing their innocence.. but they want to stay high to hang on to hope.. (the stars) but they are burning out one by one as they grow older. this is kind of a dwindling hope song.. and what the fuck is up with my life.. where have i gone? kind of song.. awesome lyrics. |

I know songs mean different things to different people with DIFFERENT situations. but for some reason everytime I hear this song it makes me think that hes trying to quit smoking.. and hes on the patch haha.. just listen to it and think of it.. its kinda interesting how much it sounds like that is what hes talkin about. Being as how nicotine restricts the capillaries and the withdrawals can make it feel like they r "screaming" for more. when he says "dont u wanna breathe" hes tryin to talk himself out of another relapse. I know thats way outside the box when it comes to DC songs.. but ya know.. I cant wait to see them NEXT WEEK when they finally come to Greenville, SC!!! Peace yall. |
