Yeah, pretty much the world is a messed up place....and sometimes you feel so helpless in it and its just gotten you so beat down Sometimes you wanna get high And sometimes you run and hide (anything you can do to cope) sometimes you wanna scream out And sometimes you just can’t Cause your lips They’re like they’re glued together And no one gives a damn and in those moments... | I have an interpretation for this song that I have come up with on my own. I believe that this song is about someone who has betrayed someone else, pretty much fucked up and they are saying that they have to change, that they will change. I put a personal spin on the song by believing that they person who has been betrayed is myself, and that I have been betrayed by myself. When I "woke up in hell today/ woke up depressed and drained" but that it is OK because you promise yourself that you will change. "Don't quit me" --dont give up on yourself..etc.."standing in the middle of yesterday/ where it all went wrong"--the realisation of it all...I know this probably makes no sense ...it is like 4:00 in the morning..I was just listening to this song and it took on this meaning for me | |
