Again, Grant uses some awesome imagery and metaphors in his lyrics. Previous to the release of Pushing The Senses I read that Grant had been on holiday somewhere hot during his lyric writing, and that we should expect some beach related lyrics or something, which I guess would explain the whole 'Dove Grey Sands' thing. Absolutely awesome. |

This is an amazing song, one of my all time favourites, not just from Feeder's catalogue but generally. Lyrically I haven't really worked it out, but I find the lyrics to the chorus are really deep which is probably what makes this song stand out so much. As well as the fact it's just AMAZING! |

This song is probably my favourite song of all time ever, maybe joint with Feeder's 'Turn'. Lyrically I have been able to relate somewhat recently. I think the song has an uplifting feel to it, particularly with the lyric "Tomorrow shines through...", but the main content is about missing something that has left your everyday life, quite possibly a love- "addiction pulls you down you know, and she's the drug I need".
Truly an AMAZING song, so beautiful. |
