Prize Fighter Inferno – The Missing McCloud Boys Lyrics 19 years ago

Agreed. Maybe the woman has moved on and taken a husband and fears a conflict or whatever may occur when Jesse returns?

Prize Fighter Inferno – The Fight Of Moses Early & Sir Arthur McCloud Lyrics 19 years ago
Perhaps Arthur and Moses have already had the fight and Arthur comes home to Martha to recount or something? I mean why would he call Moses "dear", twice? The "disease" and the "hurt within his heart" might be referring to his molestation of Cecillia, their daughter. Perhaps he is admitting the truth to her and if she was already told he "might fall apart". The fight might have been because Johnny Early and Cecillia McCloud were in love and, after she was molested, Cecillia asked Johnny to run away with her, but he refused ,so she ran away with her brothers (the missing McCloud boys). Johnny may have gone to Moses and told him what Arthur had done, hence the confrontation.

Prize Fighter Inferno – Margretville Dance, The Lyrics 19 years ago
By 'their mother' I mean the Bleam brothers' mother, who gets killed by the family patriarch for pinching Meth from his stash, but it is uncertain at which point this occurs. This sends the Bleam Brothers spiraling even further into madness.

Prize Fighter Inferno – Margretville Dance, The Lyrics 19 years ago
It used to be called The Margretville Town Dance but the name was changed when the Cd was released. I think this song is about Cecillia and her twin brothers being captured ("From here on out we walk restrained... Afraid") by the Bleam family, whom they meet in the woods after running away from home (see Our Dearest Daughter...). Their mother may or may not be alive at this point (depending upon your interpretation of 'A Death In the Family') but, either way, The Bleam brothers Long-Arm and Butchie are FREAKING CRAZY and obsessed with sending souls to god, for which purpose they create the Blood Machine, a machine which rips dead bodies apart to harvest their soul and send it to god. The reference to the "Machine" and lines such as "Is this the way you watch the body die?" suggest they are taken to the machine by the Bleam brothers. At which point the song ends?

Prize Fighter Inferno – Our Darling Daughter You Are, Little Cecillia Marie Lyrics 19 years ago
Gunner-Racall's idea about Martha killing herself in the shower also makes sense, but the lines "If he would just die, then I might be happy" and "I will bury his grave ... Maybe for them" just suggest something happens to Arthur.

Prize Fighter Inferno – Our Darling Daughter You Are, Little Cecillia Marie Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is about Arthur McCloud abusing her daughter Cecillia (the main character), she was clearly raped as it suggests
"The sweat of your back, now sticks to the carpet,
As he moves himself out from the press" she tells her mother, Martha, but I don't think she does anything about it, until Cecillia ends up running away with her brothers (the missing McCloud Boys) at which point Martha decides to "do it myself so it's done". This could be reffering to either the actual killing of Arthur or simply disposing of his body (Cecellia may have already killed him).
