WHISPERING! I'm surprised no one has said anything about this. I found this on another web page: Ok guys, I got soundforge and I decided to try to figure out what the whispers were saying from 10:30 to 11:00 AND I STARTED TO FIGURE IT OUT! I'm so excited ok I seperated it into 2 different channels, changed it to mono, improved the sound quality and slowed it down and here is EXACTLY what I hear(it's not completely clear but I'm almost 100% this is what she says) "It came from an Irish novel. Open it in the light. It came from a novel, now you will find it" then near around 10:55 it says "Open". I havent found anyone or any site that knows the answer to this riddle though. |

| La Te Ra Lu S. These are periodic elements. Some believe a mixture of these is needed to find an answer to the song or possibly a message is in the numbers of the elements. The closest idea is that if you translate these into Latin and Greek you get: LA: Lanthanum - "lie hidden beneath" TE: Tellurium - "the earth" RA: Radium - "light" LU: Lutetium - "the Latin name for Paris" S: Sulphur - "hellfire" After adding some articles and connecting verbs we get: "Hidden beneath the earth, the light of Paris, is hellfire." What does this mean? Well, it may have something to do with the church, the "Rennes le Chateou" an old church with a dark and secret past dealing with the Priory of Zion and supposed hidden treasure. Tool has somewhat of an obsession with this place and supposedly wrote most of this album in a studio in Paris near here. | |
