I agree with Cape Kid on this one, it seems more to make sense about a break up. Espicially because when she tries to kiss him, he bites her tongue, And he seems to respond negatively to hearing she thinks shes 'the one for him' (though I can't figure out what "i was in your mattress back in 1982" could mean exactly? I dunno, thats just how I see it. |

I dunno, Sounds to me like he just wants to get_it_onnn, just unrestrained love making (maybe a one night stand, maybe not). He talks about not wanting to worry about feelings and relationship things too much. Sounds like the dishes are to be rattling from the action in the next room. "I just want to make it" I think is as in, make love. "The ornaments look pretty But they're pulling Down the branches Of the tree" Sounds like "Sure the clothes look nice on you, but their in the way lets take em off" |

Definatly a badass song, I wish it was longer... I have heard the vocal version and I'm going to post the lyrics for it on this site. But thanks to jaialin for pointing out what Arco Arena is, the lyrical version references more about the team and the game. |

Heh, man I hope Wrapid's kidding. I really think this is sort of an apology song, Sounds like he left his girl ("if i knew you i would not run" maybe read it like "if i had known you, i would not have run"?), which clearly made her mad at him ("rivers are raging in your blood" "you have been cloudy, distant, dark"). But now he's waited some time to hopefully let her cool off, but he hopes it wasn't too long, and that her love hasn't completly faded ("i've been waiting for so long, i've been hoping your love's not gone"). The lines: "you have been cloudy, distant, dark i'm thinking of noah and the ark" Show that she's angry at him (metaphor of a storm, maybe even a flood of anger, which also explains the mudslide mentioned in "houses are sliding in the mud"), but he still has hope that they can work it out(like Noah building the ark to survive the storm/flood) which is an amazing metaphor comparison if you ask me. Anyone else with comments on this song?? |

I think ThePriest was pretty much right, except I wouldn't quite say he "got his act straight," because you see in the end he spends all his money at the pub again, back to being the Wild Rover, of course vowing again to give it up. Definatly a cool song, |
