This song makes me listen. It really speaks to me in so many different ways that you'll have to ask me on myspace (myspace.com/seethermania999) to find out all of the ways. It is too confusing for this forum and this site.

This song, to me, is the best song ever written by Evanescence. It displays the vunerability that Amy Lee has because of recent events. Amy Lee is Kickbutt in this song and in it, she reminds me of myself, in that I have some of the same things going on. Amy Lee is pure gold!!! |

This song reminds me of someone who has just found out that an extremely close person has committed suicide and left them with unresolved issues. I had a friend commit suicide on January 20, 2006 and I listened to this song after her funeral. It took this meaning to a whole new level. |

This is one of my top favorites!! It is a song between what Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan had together and its hard for me not to think about all of the wonderful people I have in my life when I hear it!! The harmony is incredible, Amy Lee is my favorite singer of all time and when Shaun and her sing together, I can't help but be silent and listen to the song. I can't help but say that the music was brillantly written and Amy and Shaun are brillant together!! This song rocks!! |

Oh boy...I have only heard this song once without crying and that was the first time I had ever heard it. It displays my feelings...(need I say more) about someone I love that I don't think I'll ever be able to have love me back. This is one of the BEST songs I have every heard-it is my second favorite right now-and I just heard it on the radio this morning as I was getting up. It makes me think of a close friend. She's my wonderwall. |

I love this song. It makes me evaluate how much my closest friend means to me. In fact, there is one friend that I have (I can't mention the name for protection) who really means a lot to me and I think about her when I listen to this song. I play the piano and when I first heard this song, I immediately opened the album and read the lyrics and was overtaken with all of the emotion Amy Lee put into the song. Amy Lee is my all-time favorite singer and I listened to her voice in this song and just had to call my friend (the one I mentioned earlier) and just had to play this song for her. This was the day after The Open Door hit stores. After the song was over, she told me that she wanted to be friends forever...
Anyways, whenever I hear this song I become breathless and I can't listen to any other song. This is on of my favorite Evanescence songs and I hope to hear more incredible piano/vocal duets in their next album. I can't help but say that the lyrics "So take care of what you ask of me, I can't say no" make me think of so many memories in my life-so many.
I want to tell you all too that anyone who doesn't like this song shouldn't feel afraid or guilty because of that because I don't care what others think-Evanescence will always be my favorite band. I saw them in concert in Denver with my closest friend and we couldn't help but fall in love with Amy's brillant vocals, intoxicating piano skills and her passion for the music she plays. Evanescence is truly hardcore. |
