actually i don't think hes really contemplating suicide.. at no point in the song does he mention it..
i feel hes only questioning why he goes on the way he is now.. perhaps its about how hes still in love with this girl who doesnt wanna be with him and he keeps persisting with his feelings for her instead of moving on? and its as if everyone is telling him that he should just get over it.. "Whispers in the back of my head
Telling me its all wrong" but he still seems to be unable to give up.. "Why do i persist?"

how the fuck has nobody commented on such an awesome song?
as to the meaning of it.. im not the best at working lyrics out but i get the general impression that trevor is expressing how he feels about his life up until this point and the surrounding world in relation to it, like for example how he talks about friendships and bonds in the 3rd verse but also talks on a more general level about people in the 2nd verse such as the different types of people with those who will "hide in fear" and "see this through till the end" etc. etc.
regardless of what i may make of it, im still really puzzled to the actual meaning of this song.. this is just the vibe that i get when i try and interpret it.. and i think it mainly just because of the chorus and how it appears to be a testament to his life until this point when he screams "and i dont regret a thing i've done"..
just my two cents worth..

how has nobody commented on this yet? such a kickarse song, i love the speedy intro part.
to me the message of this song is pretty straight forward, it seems to be about someone who has been through a lot and is basically as the title puts it at a stage of being "unstoppable" although many of the lyrics seem to give off a negative feel, i think the underlying message is quite positive in that it represents courage and persistency, thats how i look at it anyway. |
